What is a prom registry?
We keep records of your dress' style numbers, the school you attend, and the date of your prom to avoid selling the same dress to girls attending the same prom. This way, we can ensure you attend your prom in a unique, original dress!
Please do keep in mind that not all stores follow a prom registry.
RETURNS AND PURCHASE
What is the return policy?
We do not offer refunds. Store credit or exchanges can be made within 7 days of purchase.
Special order items and sale items are final sale.
Returns and exchanges cannot be made on items that were tailored.
What if I order a dress from a designer and it does not fit me?
Alterations can be done to make the dress bigger or smaller depending on your needs.
In certain cases, the dress can be exchanged for a new size.
Can I rent a dress?
Our dresses are final sale (unless otherwise specified) and cannot be rented.
Can I leave a dress on layaway?
Dresses can be left on layaway for 2 weeks maximum, with a required deposit.
How does ordering work?
We carry a large selection of merchandise in our store. Dresses in-store are available for you to try on before you make a final decision on your order.
Some dresses are available for immediate purchase while other selections may need to be ordered online to accommodate your size and/or color preference.
Once you select your color preference and we take your measurements, dresses are ordered directly from the designer warehouse.
Dresses are typically shipped to Oz Boutique and you will be contacted once your order has arrived. We recommend this so our professionals can make any adjustments to the dress, if needed. For example, if the gown is too long or you run in between sizes, the dress will be fixed by our in-house tailor to ensure the dress fits perfectly.
How long does it take for a dress to ship?
Typically, 5-12 business days. Special order dresses and certain designers/styles may take longer.
If you are in a rush, expedited shipping may be an option on some selections for an additional cost.
How can I check stock availability of a dress?
Call us at (718) 544-1087 with the style number or a description of the dress, along with the color and size you need.

What if I don't know my dress size?
We take measurements in store when a customer is ready to order a dress.
Does Oz Boutique do alterations?
Yes! We provide full service alterations for all kinds of dresses and fixes.
Alterations are an additional cost depending on the work being done.
What if I want a dress Oz Boutique does not carry?
We will show you similar styles or dresses by the same designer that we do carry in order to give you an idea of how the dress will fit.
We will order the dress you are interested in directly from the designer as long as it is available.
Does Oz Boutique only sell formal dresses?
Oz Boutique sells dresses for every occasion including clubbing, cocktail parties, and 21st birthdays.
We carry a limited selection of various attire such as outerwear, bathing suits, scarves, and tops.
We sell a wide variety of shoes (heels, boots, flats, sandals), jewelry, accessories, body enhancers, etc.

Does Oz Boutique sell child/toddler sized dresses?
We carry a very limited selection in stores, but have a larger selection available on our sister website. Call us for more information.
Does Oz Boutique sell Plus Sized dresses?
Oz does carry a limited selection of plus sized dresses in the store to try on.
Specific sizes can be ordered from the designer if it is available online.
Does Oz Boutique sell gift certificates?
Yes, and they can be bought from the store.
